is there any other martial arts where knock out are legal apart from boxing and kickboxing
Knock outs in Martial arts?
How about MMA (mixed martial arts)? Muay Thai too, though that may be considered a form of kickboxing.
Reply:yea just about all of em. ive even seen knockouts in point taekwondo...its just usually not too common. as long as its not "touch" rules then other martial arts rules allow knockouts. in some "point/touch" rules you get penalized for knocking out your opponent. but like i said i see knockouts in tkd, full contact karate, kempo, savate, etc... along with mma, boxing, and all other forms of kickboxing[american, thai, san shou]
pretty much all martial arts that use kicking and punching techniques can be considered "kickboxing"
Reply:mostly all i seen a guy knocked out in point sparring and didn't get called (chito ryu) i think it was becaudse the guy who got knocked out moved in at the same time as the kick
