The Sai in Martial arts?

What martial arts style is best for learning to use the sai

The Sai in Martial arts?
As docroy77 as stated and a very good answer!!!

Any style that teaches Kobudo will include at some level usually advanced the sai, well in my own case I studied elements of the sai through kobudo syllabus in jiu-jitsu besides Nunchaku, Bo and Jo staffs, tonfa and kobotan.

So if you want the best of both worlds I'd suggest jiu-jitsu although I'm biased with being a former jiu-jitsu coach.

Best wishes and good luck :)***
Reply:Okinawan Karate/Kobudo.
Reply:One of the Okinawan styles.
Reply:Any style which teaches kobudo as part of its syllabus. As has been said, most Okinawan karate styles teach sai as part of their syllabus but some Japanese schools do as well such as Shito-Ryu and Rembu-Kan.

I'd suggest any shorin-ryu, shorei-kan, shuri-te styles would teach it along with tonfa, nunchaku and bo.
Reply:Okinawan Kobudo and Isshinryu Karate are the only arts I know of.
Reply:hah, all you guys have forgotten Shotokan, which is still practiced. good choice, by the way, the sai are one of the best defensive weapons to use. hence why the police in okinawa were issued them.

like the other guys said, anything that has sai as its syllabus is good. they are one of those things where most styles will be the same, due to the fact that this is a okinawan weapon, and wasnt really used anywhere else.
