What type of martial arts is this?

When you use your mind and someone could puch or kick you anywhere in your body and you wouldnt feel a thing, including the neck and crotch areas and they would swell up or nothing. What kind of martial arts is that? Just curious

What type of martial arts is this?
Usually that is from many years of meditation and pain training. it is almost unheard of in America but there are temples in parts of asia that train people from children in the ways of some very hardcore kung fu that youre speaking of.

they call it utilizing chi, which is an energy that has been documented scientifically and seen in heat form in the body on a thermoscope.
Reply:uuuuuh, read it again...i said kung fu Report It

Reply:crotch lmao
Reply:it is commonly refered to as obesity...no kick or punch could interrupt a bucket of chicken
Reply:Acting. It's a hoax.
Reply:That is all martial arts, most of the people that are like that concentrate on nothing else but their on being, in other words meditation.
Reply:intense obliviousness to the world around you. jutsu/do
Reply:Bullshido
Reply:Thats a cheating martial art. If you take those shots, you are going to suffer long term damage
Reply:I have seen these guys on TV. They Kiah and get hit. They claim that they exerting energy outwards that matches the incoming energy nulling the impact. The call it Ki- jitsu I believe.

I do not believe that it is a legitimate art. I feel they are scam artists. But if you want to pay someone thousands of dollars to learn how to scream I am not going to stop you.

This is not to be confused with actually Kiah techniques which are legitimate. Actual use of the proper technique presses the air out of the torso, tightens the ab muscles and sets the diaphragm in a less vulnerable position. No energy, no magic. Just biology.
Reply:It's a type of Shaolin Kung-Fu.

These guys practice for 8-10 hours every day to get to that point and then only a few can do it.
Reply:It's called getting hit in the damn face.
Reply:any martial art. It's no art in itself. If you can't take pain don't do something taht involves lots of pain and strength. People will argue with things like Qi, but Qi is not supposed to be use that way. If you tell your body to withstand attacks it eventually learns to take it and over come so sadly its like this if your not a pus.sy you can learn to take it. if you are get out of the kitchen
Reply:There is no martial art that teaches this, there are styles in Kung Fu that teach iron skin methods that teach the practitioner how to tense the body and use chi properly to avoid damage. I've seen images of Shaolin Monks placing spear tips on their throats and leaning into them so that the spear itself is almost bent in half.
