What is better? martial arts or gangster fights?

well idk what to really call it, but who would exactly win? the person using martial arts, or the other person, who just fights like a gangster??

martial arts obviously, the martial arts know how to fight, they bock stirke kick its what they specialise in. Gagster fights just throw a couple of punches and hope they hit their target

Reply:I like skill in my fights. I was never a fan of watching high school kids roll around in the grass before someone pulled them apart with that "GRR I'M MAD!" look on their faces.
Reply:If it is just a person who trains in martial arts I would say it could go either way. If it was a person that actually fights MMA and has experience then that person will more than likely win. Experience in actual fights is key.

Reply:lol that's a funny question what i find funny about this question is that i seen gangsters fight...they have their fist near the chest intimidates their opponent and that's it...martial arts has movement, training, and we dont' intimidate also we learn what moves are effective and swift as for gangsters you swing your arms as hard and violent as possible to hurt your opponent..i fought gangster style fighting type before they end up getting countered and grappled...also my elbow does a huge blow on their unprotected head
Reply:Martial arts require skill. Flailing arms and missed strikes are not gonna do the trick.

Reply:why, the martial artist of course. martial artists are trained to fight and know tons of kicks and blocks and pressure points, whereas a gangster would probably just give a punch to the face and hope they don't miss.
Reply:martial artists, though many gangsters train in boxing, I'm assuming you're not talking about these who are actually trained in a martial art. (Boxing is certainly a martial art)
Reply:fact is alot of Martial Arts were refined by Tong gangsters fighting it out in the streets of Asia. So I choose a gangsta Tong Warrior whom has had a few bloody death fights in Asia fighting for his particular Tong or Gang.


Another example is a man named Chin Siu Hung whom was a 300 lb Chinese Master ( whom had a death match at 74 years of age ) and Tong Fighter with a pretty rough past. He was and is a Martial Artist as well as again I said many Martial Arts were refined by Tong Gangs in Asia and have been handed down to us. The Yakuza is an example of a Martial Arts Gangster that can kick some butt and kill if thats the requirement. Many Tongs have Martial Warriors willing and ready to fight to the death.
