what in your opinion is the deadliest form of martial arts? must have knowlege of martial arts to answer please.

No single martial art is "better" or "more deadly" than another.





Individual fighters win fights, "Styles" never win fights.

Reply:i think taekwondo is good example of martial arts, it requires you to use variety forms of kicks, in taekwondo, we almost use our kicks often, somtimes we also use variety styles of punches. and it is also used as self defense.. i also did wrestling, wrestling requires your physical and mental strength.. and you requires all parts of your muscles, its also very competative sports
Reply:The one that lost sight of the reason for having the concept of Martial Arts in a modern civilized world. Sport styles are great in that they present a way to keep it all in the ring, traditional are great in that they teach restraint. It is usually the one that comes from a poor teacher or lineage that has no real foundation to honor. No honor equates to being deadly. Even a piece of paper can be a deadly tool if the right note is written on it, or rolled up as a sticking / poking tool. All depends on the person controlling the art and or concept . It is people that make things deadly, not the style. If we said any one style we would be lacking in credability s most deadly encounters come from unskilled people using guns and other means of violence.


It is rarely if ever you hear of a person dying directly related to a martial art style or group. If anyone can give me verifyable evidence to the contrary it would be appreciated. A bruser with a solid punch could kill a person with a punch to the head. The ancient science of alchemy which is also a way of combat and an art teaches the use of poisons and such as well. Look at the true story of the Iceman. Not Chuck Liddell either, the one now in prison for all the murders. His style of poisoning was a form of alchemy, that is the use of chemicals - like science.


Some martial arts refer to themselves as Martial Science and the teachers as professors. This means they would be open to all science ideas being helpful in an martial way. Steroids is another form of science of chemicals, as are power drinks - and bars etc etc.


Ninjas are known as able scientists and can use differing chemicals for various reactions with full understanding. To me this is the deadliest. The government calls it chemical warfare, mustard gas and the likes is a killer of the highest degree. The geek you call names could be a scientist able to create the drug that may take or save your life.
Reply:Deadliest? Well, possibly the most effective in a self defense situation is krav maga; when used, you can cause some serious damage. However, krav maga isnt--for lack of a better word--pretty. But its lack of flashiness makes it all the more effective.
Reply:First off, I would shy away from Tae Kwon Do and head to the Deadlier form of fighting which is the essence of Tae Kwon Do. It is called Tang Soo Do. It is aproximatly 2000 years old and was created to defend and attack against all Japanese and Chinese fighting styles. You see, Tae Kwon Do is a cheapened less effective and should I say now a Censored Martial Art. Why do that when you could be doing ancient fighting techniques used to decapitate and sucessfully destroy and thwart foreign platoons. this is a war style but is a great form of defense. if you study the art well, you will thrive and kick some serious butt big time. this style has been perfected and sharpened for 2000 years and is constantly improving. dont stick with a third rate cheap scam like Tae Kwan Do. I am testing for my second degree black belt in october and am going to kick but because I am a Tang Soo Do Martial Artist for Eight Years. I startecd When i was 7.

ill say Kung fu just because it a big name there are so many from of it like San Shou (like kick boxing) or Shuai jiao(like judo)
