Which martial arts - actor, do you think is the best?

they are all fantastic at there martial arts, but some of them can not act to save themselves lol.





which ones do you think are really good actors with being brilliant at there martial arts?





for me, i think it would be Jackie Chan, John Claude Van Damme is not to bad lol, but his looks are really what has helped him along the way in my opinion.

Which martial arts - actor, do you think is the best?
All names mentioned above are actors which are very good in martial arts. But the factors which I considered to make the diffrence is practicality and being real. Jet Li, for me is no doubt is very good in Chinese Kung Fu, but it is so unrealistic with all the flying stunts and being invincible where one guy goes up against a hundred enemy. Just like Bruce Lee, Jean Claude Van Damme and sometimes Steven Seagal, the invincibility factors is just so unreal. But when you talk about Jackie Chan, now I can say, he is the best there is. Look at all his movies as I would say I might have watch a majority of it. I am not a big fan of action movies but Jackie Chan's movies is always different in story outline but always same in being funny and hilarious. His martial arts are realistic, while there is a lot of acrobatic moves, it is not exaggerated. Also his character never portray any super human aura but merely an ordinary person being skillful and almost always very lucky to defeat his adversary. Though movies are always fictional. Jackie Chan's movies show martial arts as being a practical skill when opportunities arises not some exceptional super skill making a person quite invincible.

For the acting, action and humour, Jackie Chan is hard to beat.
Reply:I don't really think Jet Li is a great actor, although I do like Chow Yun Fat movies, I hardly see as much action in them than before.

Reply:Chow yun fat seems to have done pretty for himself over the last few years both as an actor and martial artist.


Also although he seems to be slowly disappearing up his own backside i used to really enjoy Steven segal movies though he was never going to win best actor his were certainly action packed, and of course Bruce lee tops my list.
Reply:Jackie Chan is my favorite. I love his movies, he seems like a nice person and I even watched that cartoon he used to have called Jackie Chan Adventures even though I was way too old to be watching it.
