What is martial arts and it benefit to out health?

i want to know what the word martial arts mean is and what is the benefit to our health if we learn any kind of martial arts? is it the best exercise, because you can tone and shape your body?

It's beneficial to you, but not the opponent. Yes, it tones the body too.
Reply:Martial arts is Karate and other forms of selfe defense ! it is beneficial as exercise as well as skills for survival on the streets or in general . Example : If your house was ever broken into , or you are mugged or kidnapped , or assulted in any way , you could use it to save your life !!!
Reply:most important it enables you to defend yourself and others


actually it's in the creed that if you know martial atrs and someone is in physical danger it's your aim to help them





it helps the chi (universal energy) flow proprly and balnce the meridans (where energy moves) and charkras (centres of energy)





helps balance and builds muscle





helps confidence





i think 'martial' means of the public people
