I want to know the most useful and effective martial arts... like we can also use it for cleaning the house, fighting, studying, etc. That would also sharpen ur mind and also speed, etc. the martial art that would benefit anything you do... and please indicate its description.... hehehe....
Any martial arts?
as for a martial art that will benefit you in everyday life, i would have to say taijiquan.. taijiquan improves your balance, your health, and your stress level.. the movements open up your core and allow your internal organs to be massaged therefore releasing toxins, therefore extending the life of the organ, and when you extend the life of the organ, you extend the life of the organ user!
its great for concentration and focus, learning to use your chi (body's bio-energy) to calm your mind and heal your body.. it takes years to master the art but days to reap the benefits of the art..
Tai Chi is an elegant moving meditation whose slow flowing movements are performed with an emphasis on correct body mechanics and generation of Qi (bio energy). In clinical studies, Tai Chi has been found to improve balance and flexibility, reduce harmful stress hormones and manage blood pressure. Tai Chi is also one of the most formidable Chinese martial arts, particularly appealing to women and older students, as it employs softness and yielding to defeat an attacker with his own strength and exertion. as for fighting and speed, i would have to go with combative kickboxing... it is extremely effective in defense and can sharpen hand coordination and speed.. Check out this site to learn more:

hope this helps!
Good Luck!

Reply:there is no such kind of martial art my dear
Reply:aikido is supposed to be the most all inclusive.
Reply:i am not sure what you are asking for, but in my opinion the best martial art is Brazilian Jujitsu. it is ground fighting which is like wrestling. it increase your strength, speed and stamina. it can also sharpen your mind. the training can be intense but it worth it for all of the benefits
Reply:tae kwon do, much self discipline, art of fighting with "oppen han" that's what it means. need no weapons, it provides much confidence, and some of the moves can be used on floors such as the knucklehand block, to scrub floors ina circular motion,
Reply:Mr Miagi's Karate Wax on Wax off worked on cars
and Danniel San won the tournament so it must work !!!!!
Reply:Hapkido will do it, I know it will cause it did for me ask me I'll tell you more.
Hapkido means" the way of coordinated power" Aikido and hapkido are both very similar.
Reply:My son did Tae Kwon Do from 4 to 12 years old, he was a black belt when he stopped going. He got bored with it after a while. Last year my Son, my daughter, and I started doing Kempo. It is based on Shalion FungFu. I have noticed a great improvement in my physical condition, my mental well being, and my self confidence. I go to my dojo to train 4 to 5 times a week and I love it more with each passing day. Last month 471 of us from our schools went to China to train with the Shaolin Monks. It was an awesome trip. Not many schools can do that. There are over 170 schools in the USSD chain. I highly recommend them, go to www.ussd.com and see if there is one in your area, they all have 2 weeks free training so you can see if it is something you like before you sign up. Good luck.
Reply:Goju Karate do it, it pounds on focus. I dont lie. At least give it a try for all the word i can give u
Reply:Kung-Fu. I t sharpens your mind makes you think. Some of teh rising pheonix style i use can be practicle for mopping or sweeping hahaa. It's also a good way to look a physics and angles very good! you could learn karate if you want to break rice pods with your nanchaku. HAHAHAHHA. or you could learn kendo do if you want to learn how to use a stick or swinga broom properlyy ROTFLMAO
Reply:I would recomend tai chi are hsing-i. for self defense go with jujutsu, NOT GRACIE JUJUTSU.
Reply:jiu-jitsu
Reply:Tae-bo?
Reply:meditation, chi kung, and hsing yi. if you find the right teacher it will all be part of a single practice/program. :-)
Reply:everything seems to point to tai chi, but the speed part. lol ^^ taichi might be the slowest martial art in practice. anywho i learned a bit of tai chi from a friend, and the shift of balance helped me mop faster and easier in my job. (as for using it for cleaning ^^;;)
but really, any traditional martial art helps you achieve better body shape, more self control (body and mind), and will make you more confident. i say traditional martial art, because only traditional martial art had to change itself from only fighting art to sprit based art in order to survive the time when guns and tech weapons forced fighting arts useless for a while. then ofcourse ban against weapons came and we get rebirth of fighting arts that doesn't have to concentrate on sprit for survival.
