Martial arts kicks (for example, flying side kick)?

1. what's one of the most difficult martial arts kicks there is?

2. what's one of your favorite (or favorite) martial arts kick?

3. what's one of the most difficult combination of kicks there is?

4. what's one of your favorite (or favorite) combination of kicks?

Martial arts kicks (for example, flying side kick)?
Running Jumping spinning back kick and to make it a combo at into a crescent with the other leg of your opponent for leverage. very hard to do.

Or a three way combo kick in the air one to fact and quick to right and then to left with same leg before you ever hit the ground. Very hard to do!

I prefer more simpler kicks though like side kicks and crescent kicks and axe kicks.
Reply:butterfly kick

Reply:I think the most difficult is when you twist you start kicking then it'll land in a spilt........

death kick

my fav is death kick.
Reply:1. Probably either the butterfly kick or the jumping spinning hook kick.

2. Side kick. Powerful. Quick. Effective.

3. The one I'm doing now for my junior blackbelt. Jump side kick, jump spinning hook kick, low to high roundhouse.

4. Low roundhouse kick to the knees to high side kick to the gut to jumping reverse side kick to the sternum. Make sure you have a lot of room to kick.
Reply:my fav kick when i was 17 and in tkd (for demonstration purposes only) was a running jumping flying reverse kick, jumping off of my left leg, and reverse kicking with my left leg, and in the opposite direction a flying front kick at the same time... I could only manage one board with each kick, but it looked cool... but my fav kicks to use in hard sparring are the basics, and i like to use combinations of punches then kicks... as it has a greater chance of landing without me being caught with my guard down... there are all types of fun kicking combinations you can "play" with if you are sparring feet only though.... but much like boxing it all has to bet set up properly, to make your opponent think he knows what is coming so you can "feint" and deliver something else... good luck
Reply:Hi there

Its a very difficult question to answer considering all styles are different in their approach and application.

If you want a realistic answer try doing them in a confined space when you've had one drink too many.

Answers to questions 1 to 4 is simply the one that works.

Best wishes

Reply:1. For me butterfly kick was easy to learn :] I'm having a lot of trouble with the side kick though. Perfecting technique takes a long time 0.o

2. Axe kick/outward-downward kick. feels so POWERFUL

3. probably XMA kicks. 540's to 720's to corkscrew or whatever crazy things those crazy people come up with.

4. don't have one yet :\

Reply:1. The most difficult kick for people to become EFFECTIVE with are crescent kicks. (as far as difficult = complicated: if it takes too long to apply, I absolutely don't use it or teach it)

2. Favorite: rear leg low roundhouse to the knee/leg off of a simple jab-cross. (devastating because it usually lands unchecked since my opponent has to worry about the hand combo)

3. N/A

4. My favorite leg combo is snapping a roundhouse low as a feint and then quickly rechambering and changing levels to kick head high. (a lot of people will drop their hands to "help" block the fake low kick)
Reply:My favorite the lowly front kick fast powerful easy to time can be used in any circumstance to any target hard to get inside of or around. The problem most people have with it is timing or it's not dramatic enough .I have lifted 200 pound opponents off the floor with it .
